Mumbai City FC launched its brand new official home jersey ahead the fourth season of much awaited Hero Indian Super League which is scheduled to start on 17th November this year.
Owned by Bimal Parekh and Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, the ISL franchise unveiled the new jersey in a launch function held on Sunday, 28th October 2017.
The newly designed jersey incorporates iconic Bandra-Worli Sea Link. Apart from it, a golden band has also been added on the sleeves of the jersey.
Maintaining the electric blue colour, the franchise has not completely modified the jersey. Slight changes in its design have been made to pay homage to the unique traits which gave the football club a new identity.
On performance front, Mumbai City recently ended its foreign tour. The team played five friendly matches against the local FCs in Spain and achieved victories in three matches.
Mumbai’s football club will play its first match in Hero Indian Super League season 4 on 19th November 2017. The team will confront with new entrant Bengaluru FC at Sree Kantiveera Stadium, which is situated in Bengaluru.
