Owned by ‘The Tata Steel’, Indian Super League’s new team ‘Jamshedpur FC’ is scheduled to play pre-season matches from 1st October this year. A source close to the team confirmed that the team will head to Thailand to play friendlies against the local football clubs.
Steve Coppel, who is the former coach of Kerala Blasters, is expected to go to Thailand along with his team. The new ISL team is going to play practice matches against the football clubs from Thai league.
Many teams are scheduled to go on a tour to foreign countries for the pre-season training. FC Goa is slated to fly to Murica and Spain to play the pre-season practice matches against the local FCs.
Jamshedpur FC will face NorthEast United FC in the second game of Hero Indian Super League 2017-18, which is going to begin on 17th November this year. The two teams will face each other in their first game at Indira Gandhi Athletic stadium on 18th November 2017.
