ISL 2017 Match 2 : Jamshedpur FC scores no goal in opening match against NorthEast United FC

New ISL team Jamshedpur FC performed poorly its first match of ISL 2017 and failed to score any goal against NorthEast United FC (NEUFC) in the game. Playing the first soccer match in Hero Indian Super League, Jamshedpur’s football team managed to defend the opponents from entering into their area of goalpost and prevented the rival team from scoring goal in this match which was played at Indira Gandhi Athletic stadium located in Guwahati.

Facing the tougher competitor in domestic soccer league of India, Jamshedpur football club started the game with moderate performance. The team didn’t showcase any hurry in scoring their first goal. NorthEast United FC too majorly focused on defending their goalpost from the aggression of antagonist team. Maintaining 0-0 result till half time, no team succeeded in impressing their fans gathered in the stadium.

Though the soccer players from both sides tried their hard to take their team at leading position in the match, but the defense of both teams quite strong enough for resisting the other side from entering into nearby area of goalpost. Audiences crowded in the football arena watched a tough competition between the new team (Jamshedpur FC) and an experienced football team (NorthEast United FC).

Exhibiting strength in opening game, Jamshedpur FC has started its ISL journey with a satisfactory performance. NorthEast United FC too didn’t disappoint its fans and supporters by stopping the foes from scoring any goal in this important match. With an average performance, NEUFC and Jamshedpur FC bagged consecutive positions in ISL points table. Both teams are expected to maintain consistency in their performances in upcoming matches.
